Twitter vs. LinkedIn: What’s the Best Platform to Publish on in 2022?

I prefer to publish on LinkedIn.

It’s less noisy, and for professionals with a preexisting network, it’s probably easier to get early traction there.

But my ghostwriting clients want Twitter threads.

Because the “Retweet” is the most powerful button on social media. One retweet from a prominent account can send a thread to the moon. And so, I have to listen to demand.

At first, I didn’t want to accept this.

But as an entrepreneur, my job isn’t to tell people what they should want. My job is to observe what people want and fulfill their demand.

And listen, I’ve met great people and had fun publishing on both Twitter and LinkedIn. So for now, I’ll stay with both and help my clients do the same.

Conclusion: LinkedIn is easier to start, Twitter has a greater potential upside.

If you write online where do you prefer to publish?
